Clarity Software. The core software (p/n C50) includes only one Instrument.
WhatisanAdd-onInstrument?
Add-on Instrument is a software extension; it is required for each additional chromatograph (new independent time base) that will be connected to
Clarity software. Each Add-on Instrument shall be ordered as p/n C55. If adding Add-on to existing Clarity a new user code is issued to enable the
additional instrument(s) to work. A maximum of 3 Add-on instruments can be added to each Clarity.
WhatisClaritycontrolmodule?
Clarity control module is an optional SW that enables autosampler, GC or HPLC control. Clarity can control the chromatographic hardware listed,
if your instrument is not listed, please inquire with Chrom Tech technical support. Detailed description of control options can be provided in the
corresponding manual, please inquire.
WhatisaClarityextension?
Clarity extension is optional SW that extends the Clarity functionally. Extensions currently offered include: Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC)
and Photo Diode Array (PDA) data analysis; support for Capillary electrophoresis (CE) and Elemental analyzers (EA); special calculations System
Suitability Test (SST) and Natural gas Analysis (NGA). Detailed descriptions of each extension are available in the corresponding manual, please
inquire.
WhatisthedifferencebetweenClarityandClarityLite?
Clarity Lite is a simplied version of Clarity Chromatography Software, which can support only one Instrument (one time base) and analog data
acquisition. Clarity Lite cannot be extended by optional extensions and control modules.
WhatisClarityOfine?
Clarity Ofine version is a special version for data processing only. It is to be installed on a different PC than a version for data acquisition. S/N for
ofine version always starts with 98-xxxxx.
WhendoIneedanA/Dconverterfordataacquisition?
A/D converters are always required for systems that do not have digital data acquisition supported by Clarity.
HowmanyA/Dconverterscanbeinstalledatoneworkstation?
Clarity Lite supports only one plug and play A/D converter (INT7, INT9 or U-PAD2).
Clarity full version does not have any limitation, multiple A/D converters can be installed and a prospective limitation can come from a PC side (ie:
not enough PCI/USB slots).
